Omron Nebulizer NE-C25

I bought an Omron Nebulizer two years back. Truly, I am impressed with the device performance and consistency.

It was all working fine till last month. 

All of a sudden it stopped emitting the mist. The motor was working fine but I don't see any mist coming out.

I tried reaching the company service center rather than going here and there. After several calls, I realized that I am wasting too much time for simple things. 

I took the device to a store very near to my house. They acted gently and asked me leave the device so that they can send it to the respective people for a proper service.

The next day they called me and told that it may not be possible for service from their store as I didn't purchased from them. In fact I felt very happy that they announced the very next day instead of keeping the device for months and months. 

 I made a little search in the internet and found one store in Secunderabad. I called them up and described the device problem. They asked me bring the device so that they can do something.

I took the device to them. Initially they asked me to leave the device with them. I was prepared for that. Even then I insisted them to operate the device in my presence so that they can make sure that  the motor is running fine.

They responded very smoothly and turned on the device. One gentle man came from inside after hearing the sound of the device. He asked me why did you brought this device if the motor is running fine. I said there is no mist from the device.

He checked the pressure levels coming out from the device and said there is no problem with the device. The only problem is with the pipe. He suggested me to replace my current pipe with the new one. 

I took a new pipe from the same store and checked tested with the device.

Everything is working fine.

Philips WP 3890

I got a Philips WP 3890 water purifier as a gift. I thought I was lucky to get such a valuable and concerned gift. 

My problems started when I decided to install it at my home. I called up the Philips support and rose a request for installation. The support team sent a person for installation. He installed the device. Surprisingly, the device initiated but no water is coming out. The person left without fixing the problem.

After several calls the Philips team sent another engineer to my place. He studied the situation and confirmed that the pressure for the water inflow is not sufficient.

He suggested to install a booster pump which regulates the water flow.  I inquired about the device. It costs around INR 3000/-.

I made some search in the internet and finally agreed to his proposal and installed the booster pump.

The device is working fine.

About the Device

Philips WP 3890 water purifier has a flow rate of 1.2 litres per minute. It has 3 purification stages like- Pre-filter purification, activated carbon purification (sediment filter) and Ultra-violet purification. Its new UV (PLS) technology destroys known waterborne viruses. It comes with user replaceable filter which can be replaced whenever indicated by purifier system. Its PureProtect Lock feature locks the down the Purifier if the filter is not replaced on time. Its other feature include PureFlush that automatically flushes all internal pipes and the UV chamber after every filter change.

Conclusion

The best part about it is that at all times, only pure water will be released from the purifier, i.e. if 3000 liters are reached and the candle not changed, then the purifier stops releasing water, unlike Eureka which will still keep pouring impure water. Now some may find this inconvenient, but we found this a very good feature as a purifier must only provide pure water and not impure water.
